really enjoyable.Īs much as I love using Cinema 4D, I like how Modo works and its lower pricing especially for upgrades.
#YOUTUBE CHEETAH 3D 7 SERIES#
I got the Sports Shoe series just out of interest this week. The video training Luxology provides is very good and cheap pricing. To do so, it will be essential to hunt the prey we can and to feed ourselves. To play, we must complete a series of missions that the game gives us, but without neglecting our life points. Our goal in this game will be to become a cheetah and live its life in the African savannah. especially if one of the new features in 401 is Charatcer Animation. Cheetah Family Sim is a 3D cheetah simulator with RPG touches. Modo is fast becoming a very impressive all round 3D app. I have also been watching Modo over recent weeks after viewing David Larsons "Modo/Unity Lightmap and Beginning a Project tutes" I downloaded some sample Radiosity scenes from the forum and observed some very nice results. It includes some great features for the price. Cheetah was pretty intuitive to pick up without getting the beginner video series.
#YOUTUBE CHEETAH 3D 7 UPGRADE#
Plus the free upgrade to v5 for a discounted $99 USD you can't go wrong. What I also found was a really friendly forum and Martin (the creator) posts a lot on the forums himself. I bought Cheetah3D last week, purely so I could get my Cinema 4D scenes/objects into Unity with 2 UV sets. Problem is that I couldn't find any options in Cheetah? Is this not possible?Įdit: one more thing - I was thinking about Silo as well and what I really like about them that they have many tutorials on their website covering different topics, where Cheetah 3D has only one and even that was for sale?Īfter being somewhat frustrated with my beloved Cinema 4D due to lack of multi UV set support I have been searching for other apps to use with Unit圓D. Is there some important features missing, in other words would I need to learn any other package like Blender?ītw, I bought tutorials from fellow Unity member Thomas Pasieka about Cinema 4D where he talks about various topics and one thing he mentioned was importance of being able to snap objects to grid lines. I'm not 100% sure what I'm talking about yet, but does it have features like UV mapping (multi UV points?), texture/lightmap baking, animations etc.? My question before buying Cheetah 3d - does it have all required features for creating games on Unity and especially Unity iPhone?
As much as I like Cinema 4d, it's way too expensive for now. Spend last few weeks playing with different 3d modelling packages and decided to settle down on Cheetah 3d.
